Nose: Clean and crisp. Tart fruit, toffee, oak, smoked meats, a touch of peat, coastal notes, good fruit, a touch of something earthy.
Palate: Supple and very thick and oily with some vanilla sweetness, aniseed, a hint of spicy oak and cut hay.
Finish: Good length, spicy, bittersweet with rich, deep mustiness, hints of brine and smoke counteracting fruity sweetness.
