The oldest official bottling from the Caol Ila distillery, this 25 year old Islay single malt was released as one of just 6,000 bottles, distilled in 1978 and bottled in 2003 at cask strength.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Gentle sweetness, fresh. Wistful smoke, soft peat, a little fruitiness. Apple wood dries in a smokehouse.

Palate: Firm, woody, coastal.

Finish: Quite long, gentle smoky notes.
