Insider knowledge: Bushmills Millennium Malt whiskey is named whiskey by virtue of the fact it's from Ireland. If distilled in Scotland the spelling would be Bushmills Millennium Malt whisky, as opposed to whiskey.
Nose: Creamy, cereal sweetness, barley, vanilla, oak. Nutty.
Palate: Mature oak, sweet spices, vanilla, creamy, fruity.
Finish: Medium to long, barley, fruit, honey, creamy.
This is sublime stuff.

A little bit like petrol, but in the best way possible. Cleaner than you could imagine.

The Bushmills Millennium Malt is sublime. We toured the distillery the day after St. Patrick's Day 2010 and they had opened a bottle for the free sample on St Patrick's Day. We were lucky enough to get a try of this whiskey. Strong and creamy to the nose, almost pungent but nastily so, Christmas cake on the palate, definitely a long finish with what tastes like Golden Syrup and sultanas. Absolutely sublime!
