What's in a name? Bushmills Millennium Malt whiskey is called whiskey because it's produced in Ireland. Were it from Scotland it would be spelled Bushmills Millennium Malt whisky, rather than whiskey.
Nose: Creamy, cereal sweetness, barley, vanilla, oak. Nutty.
Palate: Mature oak, sweet spices, vanilla, creamy, fruity.
Finish: Medium to long, barley, fruit, honey, creamy.
The Bushmills Millennium Malt is sublime. We toured the distillery the day after St. Patrick's Day 2010 and they had opened a bottle for the free sample on St Patrick's Day. We were lucky enough to get a try of this whiskey. Strong and creamy to the nose, almost pungent but nastily so, Christmas cake on the palate, definitely a long finish with what tastes like Golden Syrup and sultanas. Absolutely sublime!

A little bit like petrol, but in the best way possible. Cleaner than you could imagine.
