Insider knowledge: Brora 30 Year Old (2007 Release) whisky is named whisky by virtue of the fact it's from Scotland. If distilled in America the spelling would be Brora 30 Year Old (2007 Release) whiskey, as opposed to whisky.
Nose: Fresher and sweeter than the 2006 release. Citrus, vanilla, stewed fruit, soft peat, farmy. Stemmy and coastal.
Palate: Soft diesel notes, cereal sweetness, spicy. Buttery, waxy. Seaweed.
Finish: Long, astringent, lots of smoke.
