Bladnoch Lightly Peated 6 Bottling Note
Part of the new range having been released since Raymond Armstrong took the helm in 1994. The first release of whisky distilled after his ownership of Bladnoch, a very well-received set of 6 year old whiskies, this one is Lightly Peated.
Nose: Elegant. Smoke and gentle peat with a little malt thrown in for good measure, sweetness, embers.
Palate: Great texture. Peat lines the mouth. Crisp with malt, tingling oak, barley. Kicks of vanilla and citrus.
Finish: Oily, resin, vanilla, barley sweetness. Sparkling oak.
