This is a 1983 vintage Benriach which was aged for 29 years in cask 291 - a refill hogshead. It was bottled at natural cask strength in 2012 and there are 257 bottles available.

Sweet, spicy nose with notes of cantaloupe melon and tropical fruit. Dried strawberries and cinnamon.
Boiled sweets and malt. Tinned peaches and plum brandy. A touch of citrus rind and perfume. Liquorice.
Long, spiced finish. Charred oak and manuka honey.
