BenRiach Authenticus 21 Bottling Note

Just 4,800 bottles of this 21 year old Authenticus are released annually, this BenRiach whisky exudes a dark peated power and well balanced sweetness with underlying wood notes.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Very aromatic. Peaty, a little medicinal. Balancing sherry sweetness, dried fruits, oranges. Resinous.

Palate: Chewy, woody, ash. Smouldering embers, good sweetness, black pepper. Aniseed, peat.

Finish: Oily delivery, still smoky, but there is a sweet woody quality as it fades.
