Here the nose is light but very aromatic. Notes of hazelnut, pine oil, fennel and a floral character. The bourbon is reasonably evident with toasty vanilla and oak emerging alongside a touch of coconut. The palate is smooth and rich. Dried hay and white fruit, apple peel and tangy stone fruit converse with a fresh floral bouquet and a touch of aniseed. The finish is clean and stemmy, hints of zest and hay clinging 'til the last.
