A sublime old Banff from Duncan Taylor's Rarest of the Rare range, this was distilled in August 1975 before a single cask maturation of 37 years. It was bottled in September 2012 and comes at natural cask strength.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Surprisingly fresh given the cask age. There are notes of freshly cut fruit salad, hints of apple peel, soft oak and manuka honey. Dried grass.

Palate: Nutmeg, hazelnut and pepper. Spent match heads and more of those apple notes. Very malty with beautiful spices from the cask.

Finish: Dessert wine and hints of crisp citrus. Peppery finish.
