Nose: Very aromatic and rich, with notes of star anise, golden syrup, vanilla and hot, buttery rye. Little notes of prune, huge orange zest and manuka honey.
Palate: Spicy and orange-rich, freshly ground black pepper and barrel char coat the palate, hints of sweet cinnamon, peppermint, creamy vanilla and nutmeg. Then, all of a sudden, the aniseed notes develop, offering another dimension to this classic cocktail.
Finish: Long and sweet with vanilla, aniseed and orange zest.
