Nose: The sweetness on the nose is reminiscent of cherries and ripe fruit - plums, apricots, damsons. There is a hint of sophisticated, orange bitterness.
Palate: Smooth and succulent fruit, with a botanical sweetness, balanced by the bitters which temper the body nicely. The blend of vermouths has added a herby depth.
Finish: Orange bitter sweet finish that leaves you wanting more.
Overall: Very well balanced, none of the components dominate. A very fine Rob Roy.
