A superb little rum from the Plantation range, this was distilled in 1999 before a maturation in France in casks which previously held Banyuls dessert wine! Staggering...

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Quite a smoky nose with hints of cordite, rancio and white chocolate. Yoghurt-coated Brazil nuts too.

Palate: Bitter orange marmalade and hints of lozenges. Clove oil and a little nutmeg, and a good level of honeyed sweetness.

Finish: Long and thick. Oak comes late palate.
