No time at all - we always make a special effort to get personalised label bottles out just as quickly as other orders. Our next-day delivery service will ensure your gift always gets there on time. Bespoke designs may take a little longer.

The latest additions to our family are two incredible single cask malts from the now silent Tamnavulin distillery. 15 and 16 years old respectively, the second is bottled at natural cask strength and both are like hot cakes so don't wait - secure yourself a bottle of history.

Our secret bottlings range comprises fine single and blended malts hand picked to represent beautifully the distinctive flavours of each region (without breaking the bank). Although we can't tell you exactly where each bottling is from, we think that each of these drams will have quite enough to say for itself!

50 Year Old Special Reserve Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
from the Master of Malt's "Secret Bottlings" collection. 70cl 40%.
The grandfather malt in our collection, boasting everything Speyside has to offer and mellowed by 50 long years of rest.  You will not be disappointed.

Tasting notes: Perfumed, heather aromas balanced with new leather and subdued sherry notes.  On the palate there are smoky - almost phenolic notes. With hints of sweet sherry notes and a delicate sweetness.

40 Year Old Special Reserve Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
from the Master of Malt's "Secret Bottlings" collection. 70cl 40%.
Deep, complex and aged to perfection, this is one Malt you will not forget in a hurry.

Tasting notes: A sweet aroma of chocolate and fudge.  Fruity notes also present with figs and date and a delicate hint of sherry.  A similar character on the palate with fruity, sultanas flavours.  Perfumed notes and a subtle smokiness also present.

30 Year Old Special Reserve Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
from the Master of Malt's "Secret Bottlings" collection. 70cl 40%.
Rich and mellow, this well aged malt is a real Speyside cracker.

Tasting notes: The nose is rich and sweet with cloves, sherry and a slight phenolic note all present.  The palate delivers burnt fruitcake and sherrywood flavours. The cloves and cinnamon come through in the finish.

Single Cask Tamnavulin Speyside Single Malt - two bottlings available, each from a different cask
Both limited editions from single casks, distilled in 1992 matured in refill sherry casks. The second of these un-chill filtered beauties was bottled straight from the cask at its natural strength of 55.1% alcohol by volume.

House style: Malty, aromatic and herbal, with a light body.
Colour: Pale straw.
Nose:
Without water - Floral notes with malty and cereal aromas. Toasted oats. Spicy with citrus fruits also present.
With water - Hints of green apples with sweet, malty aromas. Some floral and cedar wood elements.
Palate:
Without water - soft with spicy elements - cumin. Charred oak flavours.
With water - Cedar wood and liquorice sticks. Some caramelised sugars with plain chocolate flavours developing late.
Body: Soft and delicate.
Finish: Slightly sweet with a touch of chocolate. Gently appetising.
Overall: Fresh and very attractive.
About the Distillery
The Tamnavulin distillery was built in 1966 and ceased production only three decades later. It is one of only three distilleries in the famous Livet Glen (Tamnavulin is Gaelic for 'the mill on the hill') and is the only one actually on the banks of the river Livet itself.

From the most northerly of whisky regions this malt has a complex nose of fruit, peat and oak combines with a sweet, heathery and spicy palate.

A classic combination of what some of Scotland’s greatest distilleries have to offer.  Light and delicate with sweet lavender notes.  The palate is dry with cedar wood flavours.

Medicinal aromas with sweet floral notes present.  The palate is sweet and peaty with floral notes in the background.  This whisky encompasses all that is loved the world over from Islay malts.
