Meukow Vanilla Bottling Note

Meukow Vanilla is made by infusing Meukow VS Cognac with natural vanilla extract and is bottled at 30%abv rather than the 40%abv that is required to legally be a Cognac.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Vanilla essence and oil with a little leathery cognac behind.

Palate: Stewed grapes and plenty of sweet vanilla.

Finish: Surprisingly long, with vanilla essence at first but then stronger Cognac notes towards the end.

Overall: The vanilla essence plays very nicely with the Cognac which prevents this liqueur from becoming too cloying.
