Alexander Edward, owner of Benrinnes and co-founder of Craigellachie Distillery builds Aultmore.
1897
Production starts.
1898
Production is doubled; the company Oban & Aultmore Glenlivet Distilleries Ltd manages Aultmore.

Alexander Edward sells Aultmore for £20,000 to John Dewar & Sons.
