40 Year Old Whisky
Forty (40) Year Old Whisky is really a rare treat indeed. There are very few casks which survive the maturation process with enough vivacity left in them to make truly great whisky, and you can rest assured that whiskies that reach 40 years old will be really incredibly complex, often having lost over 50% of the cask’s contents to evaporation.
40 year old whisky is very often bestowed as a 40th Birthday present as a mark of tremendous... respect for the recipient. Other occasions on which 40 year old whisky can be given include Fathers Day, and Christmas Presents.
Forty year old whisky is ultra-rare, normally very complex, and incredibly mellow and supple.
1970 was a memorable year for many people - here are some of the most memorable moments:

In 1970, whisky would have been an ill-advised drink for the Italian football team before playing Brazil at the 1970 FIFA World Cup. Brazil won.
October 1970 marked Matt Damon’s birthday. What a glorious day for cinema lovers everywhere. He’d later appear in the epic Bourne trilogy and the moving Good Will Hunting, featuring whisky loving Robin Williams.
