30 Year Old Grain Whisky

The ageing of a whisky has a huge impact upon its character, the vast majority in fact. Whisky is matured in oak, of the genus Quercus, and there a range of species used, from the European Oak to the Truffle Oak. We have some well-aged 30 year old whiskies. Whiskies of... this age have had plenty of oak contact, and thus often proffer a great refinement. These are truly connoisseur's whiskies. Why not sample one of our grain whiskies. These are quite unusual, for they are rarely bottled as grain whiskies, more often than not they become blending components, though they can be rather delightful. As a whisky is not said to age in the bottle, the age statements refer solely to the amount of time the whisky has spent in an oak cask.
