Whisky derives from the Gaelic 'Uisge beatha', meaning 'water of life', itself from the Latin, Aqua Vitae, also meaning 'water of life'. We have some delightful 40 year old whiskies. These are very well aged, and thus extremely rare. These are in limited supply and... offer an outstanding amount of oaken maturity and complexity. These are collector's items. We have 40 year old Campbeltown whiskies. Once Campbeltown was home to over twenty distilleries, though now just three remain. These are a mix of dryness, a little smoke, with a coastal character.
